Nintendo To Add Miiverse & Nintendo Network IDs To 3DS

Nintendo put out a press release yesterday covering the Nintendo Direct event and touting the addition of Nintendo Network IDs and Miiverse to the 3DS, which are both scheduled to be added with a system update next month. Check out the full press release after the jump.

Nintendo eShop Sale Press Release

Nintendo recently put out a press release announcing a new addition to the Nintendo eShop which will run through December, weekly sales. These will be included with the Nintendo Download each week and are based around different Nintendo characters. This week’s featured character is Link from the Zelda series. Here’s the full press release:

“Nintendo is offering a series of big discounts in the Nintendo eShop for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Starting today and running into December, select games featuring fan-favorite characters will be available for at least 30 percent off their normal prices. Link from the Zelda series kicks off the first round of limited-time discounts on select games. Wii U and Nintendo 3DS owners can visit the Nintendo eShop each Thursday to see which character’s games are next.

Between 9 a.m. Pacific today and 9 a.m. Pacific on Nov. 21, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS owners with a broadband Internet connection can visit the Nintendo eShop to purchase the following discounted games.
